As the property owner and host, YOU are solely responsible for ensuring that your venue is adequately insured before accepting any bookings. It is a condition of listing on VibeyVenue that you hold appropriate short-term insurance cover for your property.

What You Should Be Covered For
As a host, we recommend that your short-term insurance policy includes:
• Property damage caused by guests
• Public liability — in case a guest is injured on your property
• Theft with or without forced entry
• Pool and braai area incidents
• Temporary loss of rental income
Always disclose to your broker that your property will be used for short-term event or venue rentals, as standard home cover may not extend to commercial use.
VibeyVenue's Role
VibeyVenue provides the technology platform, booking management, and payment processing. We are not an insurer and do not provide any form of damage or liability cover to hosts or guests.
All claims, incidents, or damages must be directed to your own insurance provider. VibeyVenue will co-operate with insurer requests for booking confirmation documentation.
